Las imágenes contrastadas de la Conquista y de la Colonia en el Tratado del descubrimiento de las Indias (1589), de Juan Suárez de Peralta
El interés de este trabajo es mostrar cómo el Tratado del descubrimiento de las Indias (1589), de Juan Suárez de Peralta (1537-598), es clave para entender los cambios ocurridos entre la Conquista y la Colonia, y cómo Martín Cortés es en el mismo texto un sujeto metonímico que le permite a Suárez de Peralta explicar la transición entre una época y otra.
