Abstract

La obesidad se convierte en epidemia en muchos países, e incluye las zonas urbanas del Perú. Diversos estudios buscan dilucidar los factores que contribuyen a esta peligrosa epidemia, que tiene un evidente componente genético. En este artículo se trata de resumir lo que se conoce hasta el momento respecto a la genética de la obesidad.
