Abstract

En el presente artículo se aborda el hecho de que las universidades públicas han enfrentado el reto de lograr la pertinencia, el rigor científico y la equidad a través del análisis y evaluación de sus dependencias y sus integrantes. Sin duda, el profesorado constituye uno de los ejes centrales de la calidad de todo sistema educativo. Por ello, la evaluación de su desempeño se ha convertido en un tema primordial y en un factor imprescindible para la mejora de la educación. Se describe la transición metodológica del proceso de evaluación docente en la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo y particularmente se enfatiza que la existencia de la metaevaluación refuerza el rigor, la credibilidad y la calidad de las evaluaciones. El objetivo de este trabajo es metaevaluar la forma en que se lleva a cabo el proceso de evaluación docente a partir de la transición metodológica, identificando los aciertos y áreas de oportunidad con base en la opinión de los integrantes del Comité Institucional. Se contó con la participación de 89 integrantes de este cuerpo colegiado que dieron respuesta a un cuestionario en el que se incluyeron apartados como valoración general, aciertos, problemáticas, impacto, aspectos a mejorar y grado de satisfacción. Los resultados muestran una valoración favorable del proceso en términos generales y se concluye que incluir la opinión de los miembros de la comunidad permite a los evaluadores detectar las experiencias favorables y desfavorables durante la evaluación de la práctica docente de los profesores.Palabras clave: Metaevaluación, evaluación docente, evaluación institucional. This article discusses the fact that public universities have faced the challenge of ensuring the relevance, scientific rigor and fairness through analysis and evaluation of its agencies and its members. Without doubt, the teacher is one of the cornerstones of the quality of the entire educational system. Therefore, the performance evaluation has become a major issue and an essential factor for improving education. It describes the methodological transition teacher evaluation process at the Autonomous University of Hidalgo State, and particularly emphasized that the existence of the meta-evaluation strengthens the rigor, credibility and quality of evaluations. The objective of this work is meta-evaluations the way it carries out the teacher evaluation process from the methodological transition, identifying strengths and areas of opportunity based on the opinion of the members of the Institutional Committee. It included the participation of 89 members of the collegiate body responded to a questionnaire that included sections such as general assessment, successes, issues, impact areas for improvement and satisfaction. The results show a favorable assessment of the overall process and concludes that include the opinions of community members allows evaluators to identify favorable and unfavorable experiences during the evaluation of teaching practice of teachers.Keywords: Meta-evaluation, teacher evaluation, institutional assessment.
