SUVREMENI TEKSTUALNI GRAFITI – VJEŽBE

Abstract

The article deals with the origin and the meaning of the word graffiti, the names of the most important students of this phenomenon in Croatia (Stipe Botica, Dražen Lalić, Anči Leburić, Nenad Bulat, Tomislav Šakić and Josip Užarević), the types of basic and combined forms of graffiti expressions and the classifiation of Croatian textual graffii according to their subject matter as well as the main characteristics of textual graffiti in general. There is also a short historical overview of graffiti from all over the world and Croatia. After two poems about graffiti there are a few graffiti from Slavonski Brod, Croatia and from all over the world presented through interesting exercises. Those graffiti have been found on the walls in Slavonski Brod and in various graffii collections and anthologies. The material about graffiti in Slavonski Brod was collected by the students of Matija Mesić General Programme Secondary School in Slavonski Brod from 2003 to 2013 and presented to the public at the exhibition of the Brod textual graffiti from 2003 to 2013 in the City Library in Slavonski Brod during the Croatian Book Month in 2013.

– 2013. Izložba je održana u Gradskoj knjižnici Slavonski Brod u Mjesecu hrvatske knjige 2013. godine.
