REV. MARIAN ZAJĄC, prof. dr. hab. is a catechist; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Theology of the Catholic University of Lublin; a researcher at the Institute of Pastoral Theology and Catechetics; expert on the Catholic Education Commission of the Polish Episcopal Conference for the Assessment of Programs and Textbooks for Religious Education; Consultor of the Catholic Education Commission of the Polish Episcopal Conference; and Co-Editor of the catechism entitled Spotkanie z Jezusem. Begegnung mit Jesus: A Polish-German Catechism for First Holy Communion; Editor-in- Chief of the nationwide Z Bogiem na ludzkich drogach series of textbooks for teaching religion in Poland.
