Test data are reported for both isothermal and nonisothermal strain cycling of a nickel-base superalloy in the temperature range from 1100 to 1700 F. The mechanical strain range for all tests was held constant while the mean strain, holdtime, and thermal cycling was varied. The results are discussed in terms of energy criterion for fatigue life.
