Abstract

Durant ces dernieres annees, une serie d'etudes ont ete publiees qui presentent Gen 34 plus comme le recit d'un rapt que celui d'un viol; on a ainsi suggere recemment qu'il s'agissait ici d'un enlevement en vue d'un mariage. Cette theorie du rapt est cependant contredite par une analyse litteraire precise du recit et par les resultats des etudes psychologiques relatives au viol. Meme si l'on admet que le recit concerne un mariage a l'issue d'un enlevement, il faut reconnaitre que les termes concernant la sexualite indiquent un viol, car le consentement de la femme n'est pas indique. Sur la base des recherches anthropologiques, cet aspect devrait etre souligne dans l'etude des mariages par rapt; par principe, il faudrait privilegier pour celle-ci le point de vue de la victime, et non celui de l'agresseur.
