Hititler Döneminde URU Adaniya

Abstract

Turkiye’nin en buyuk deltasi olan Cukurova’nin, M.O. II. binyildaki yazili kaynaklara gore bilinen en eski ismi Kizzuwatna’dir. Kizzuwatna icinde yer alan cok sayidaki sehirlerden biri de Adaniya’dir. Makalede, hem KUR “ulke” hem de URU “sehir” belirleyicisi ile belgelenen Adaniya sehrinin gectigi 11 Hitit tableti ele alinmistir. Soz konusu tabletlerin transkripsiyon ve tercumelerine dayanilarak, Adaniya sehrinin lokalizasyonuna deginilmistir. Ele alinan, Adaniya’nin belgelendigi tabletlerden anlasildigi kadariyla su kesin bilgiler ortaya cikmaktadir: Misis / Yakapinar’a yerlestirilen Zunnahara ile Adaniya’nin bir gunluk mesafede oldugu ve Sar veya Sirkeli’ye (?) yerlestirilen Kummanni (Kizzuwatna) ile Adaniya’nin arasinin da bir gunluk mesafede oldugu anlasilmaktadir. Tabletlerde, daha ziyade Kummanni, Zunnahara, Arusna ve Tarsa ile iliskili olarak yer almaktadir.
