Ojcostwo i macierzyństwo od poczęcia

Abstract

Przedmiot rozważań stanowi najwcześniejsze macierzyństwo i ojcostwo bezpośrednio związane z towarzyszeniem dziecku od poczęcia. Celem zaś jest przedstawienie procesu wzrastania kobiety i mężczyzny do rodzicielstwa od chwili poczęcia do narodzin potomka. Zastosowana analiza literatury przedmiotu pozwoliła na stwierdzenie, że współcześnie coraz częściej uważa się, że macierzyństwo i ojcostwo zaczyna się w chwili poczęcia dziecka, a nie w chwili jego narodzin. Nazwanie małżonków rodzicami dziecka w prenatalnym okresie życia powoduje, że staje się ono „pełnoprawnym”, a nie „przyszłym” dzieckiem, zarodkiem czy płodem. Kobieta i mężczyzna zaś dojrzewają w swoim macierzyństwie i ojcostwie, przy czym proces ten u obojga rozpoczyna się właśnie w chwili poczęcia, a nie narodzin dziecka.
