Slugs are among the less investigated gastropods in Slovenia. The study of approximatelly 600 samples of slugs (Milacidae, Limacidae, Boettgerillidae, Agriolimacidae and Arionidae) from three collections and the analysis of data from the literature gave a total of 27 species for the territory of Slovenia. For six species this is the first record for Slovenia. Most slugs in Slovenia belong to the family Milacidae (8). A list of species with distribution maps in UTM grids (IO x IO km) is given.
