Del existencialismo espiritualista al existencialismo dialéctico

Abstract

El artículo analiza el concepto de existencia en la obra del pensador argentino Miguel Ángel Virasoro (1900-1966). En el primer apartado, damos cuenta de su pensamiento sobre la existencia desarrollado en La libertad, la existencia y el ser (1942). En el segundo, identificamos líneas de continuidad y también rupturas entre su producción de juventud, de tendencia espiritualista, y su producción de mediados del siglo XX, que el propio autor caracterizó en términos de un “existencialismo dialéctico”. Por último, atendemos al momento particular en el que tiene lugar la pregunta por la existencia en la cultura filosófica argentina, trasladando el foco del análisis de la obra de Virasoro hacia el contexto en el que tiene lugar su elaboración.
