Teatro lambe lambe

Abstract

El teatro lambe lambe, un lenguaje escénico que, por lo general, presenta un espectáculo en miniatura dentro de una caja para un solo espectador por vez, tiene su origen en Brasil. Nacido en 1989, hoy experimenta una creciente expansión alrededor del mundo. Este artículo ensaya una explicación para dar cuenta de la gran difusión que tiene en estos últimos tiempos, y lo hace a través del análisis crítico de algunos casos particulares en relación con sus características, sus contextos y sus condiciones de producción. Así, se pretende echar luz acerca del nacimiento, identidad y desarrollo de esta nueva especificidad dentro del teatro de objetos y de la manera en que se encuentra con nuevos públicos y artistas que experimentan con él más allá de las fronteras.
