Il turismo religioso: un esempio di turismo sostenibile

Abstract

L'articolo esamina le carattieristiche del pellegrinaggio e del turismo religioso e il loro impatto sulle economie locali. Il pellegrinaggio è un atto di culto molto importante per diverse tradizioni religiose. Il turismo religioso è un settore del comparto turistico in costante crescita, e costituisce una forma di turismo sostenibile. In un tempo di crisi, come quella attuale causata dalla pandemia da coronavirus, il turismo religioso può rappresentare un modello per l'intero settore turistico.
