The biotech revolution, after some relevant steps carried out in pharmaceutical industry, is now expanding over the world agricultural sector. The analysis of economic characteristics and research activities of this new sector, completed with scenario's evaluation - specifically related to North American and European markets - allow to define a specific view of industrial competitors. In this field, with some specific evaluations on strategic pathways adopted like as mergers and acquisition operations, the work offer some relevant indications about the direct and indirect effects of biotech variable on the complete evolution of the agro-chemicals and seeds industry.
