A Audácia dessa Mulher ou quatro mulheres audaciosas

Abstract

O diálogo com a História da literatura foi uma marca da ficção do entre séculos. Escritores foram apropriados como personagens com frequência progressiva. Machado de Assis é o escritor mais frequentado, com uma singularidade: não apenas o próprio escritor foi ficcionalizado, como também suas criações migraram para outros textos. Em A Audácia dessa Mulher (1999), de Ana Maria Machado, Capitu é apropriada, produzindo-se uma inversão: em narrativa que se autodeclara romance, personagens de Dom Casmurro são apresentadas como figuras que de fato viveram no século xix. O que se intentará observar nesta abordagem é o efeito alcançado pelo cruzamento de narrativas e de tempos.
