Abstract

El objetivo fue relatar el caso de inclusión de un deficiente visual en actividades de educación en salud teniendo al enfermero como lector de una tecnología educacional. Se trata de un estudio de caso realizado en Fortaleza-Ceará-Brasil. La investigación fue realizada a partir de la Teoría de Virginia Henderson. Fue diagnosticado Déficit de conocimiento. Se aplicaron las escalas de la NOC “conocimiento - control de la enfermedad y proceso de la enfermedad” para evaluar los resultados. Fueron realizadas intervenciones de enfermería por medio de una Tecnología Educacional: álbum seriado sobre hipertensión arterial, adhesión al tratamiento y calidad de vida. El álbum abordaba seis actividades de la taxonomía NIC. Para la implementación de la intervención de enfermería fue desarrollado un método con los siguientes pasos: descripción general de la figura, detalle de las figuras y énfasis en el mensaje principal representado. Los resultados de enfermería mostraron que el proceso de educación en salud inclusiva ocurrió. En términos de medición, las escalas NOC mostraron adquisición de conocimiento sobre complicaciones de la hipertensión arterial.

Aplicaram-se as escalas da NOC “conhecimento – controle da doença e processo da doença” para avaliar os resultados. Intervenções de enfermagem foram realizadas por meio de uma Tecnologia Educacional: álbum seriado sobre hipertensão arterial, adesão ao tratamento e qualidade de vida. O álbum abordava seis atividades da taxonomia NIC. Para a implementação da intervenção de enfermagem foi desenvolvido um método com os seguintes passos: descrição geral da figura, detalhamento das figuras e ênfase na mensagem principal representada. Os resultados de enfermagem mostraram que o processo de educação em saúde inclusiva ocorreu. Em termos de mensuração, as escalas NOC demonstraram aquisição de conhecimento sobre complicações da hipertensão arterial.

The objective was to report the case of inclusion of a visually impaired in health education activities with the nurse as lector of an educational technology. It is a case study carried out in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. The research was carried out from the theory of Virginia Henderson. He was diagnosed Deficit knowledge. They applied to the scales of NOC “knowledge - disease control and disease process” to evaluate the results. Nursing interventions were performed through an Educational Technology: flipchart on hypertension, treatment adherence and quality of life. The album dealt six activities of the NIC taxonomy. For the implementation of nursing intervention was developed a method with the following steps: general description of the figure, detailing the figures and focus on the main message represented. The nursing results showed that the process of education in inclusive health occurred. In terms of measurement, the NOC scales have demonstrated acquisition of knowledge about complications of hypertension.
