Sostenibilità etica dei personal care robot : linee per un inquadramento preliminare

Abstract

Negli ultimi anni l'etica della robotica ha catturato un'ampia attenzione interdisciplinare, giungendo a interessare direttamente il lavoro tanto di ingegneri quanto di scienziati sociali.' Per altro, in anni recenti è stata introdotta esplicitamente l'espressione "roboetica", che può prima facie essere compresa come l'etica di chi progetta e costruisce robot. In una fase successiva, tale espressione ha integrato il significato di "etica delle macchine", ovvero di quella parte dell'etica che si occupa del comportamento morale di "intelligenze artificiali" e delle loro implementazioni in forma di robot. Avendo presente questa prospettiva definitoria complessiva, nel presente lavoro si intende prendere in considerazione quella porzione della robotica che si dedica alla cura delle persone, ovvero la cosiddetta personal care robotics, facendo specifico riferimento a due progetti europei realizzati nell'ambito del 7° Programma quadro: ROBOLAW e ROBOT ERA.
