Esta investigación combina una metodología cuantitativa con una cualitativa para esbozar tendencias en el consumo informativo de la juventud, pero también en la producción informativa de quienes comienzan su andadura en la profesión periodística. Se observa que las nuevas generaciones priorizan las redes sociales por encima de los medios tradicionales, aunque se muestran críticos con sus lógicas de funcionamiento y evidencian fenómenos derivados como News Find Me, sobresaturación, news avoidance o desinformación.
