Abstract

L’engagement de la résistante Zohra Drif a été analysé à la fois par elle-même, comme dans La Mort de mes frères , et par certains compagnons de route de la Bataille d’Alger, tel Yacef Saadi. Il convient d’analyser la pensée de l’engagement et de la violence d’une résistante de premier plan, ainsi que sa réflexion après-coup sur le terrorisme. Mais la figure de Zohra Drif est loin d’être homogène chez les auteurs français qui évoquent la Bataille d’Alger. On notera l’intérêt soutenu qui lui est porté par Hélène Cixous – auquel fait écho la “Lettre à Zohra D.” de Danielle Michel-Chich: celle-ci y relate les conséquences pour l’enfant qu’elle était et la femme qu’elle est devenue de l’attentat du Milk Bar, orchestré par Drif.
