Dɨona uai, komuiya reikɨ: Palabra de tabaco y fuego de vida entre los murui-muina

Abstract

This article studies knowledge as transmitted through two clans of the murui-muina peoples, also known as the children of tobacco, coca, and sweet yuca. Their region is that along the Kotue River (Igaraparana) in the Colombian Amazons. The texts of each of these clans are studied: in the first case a rua (song genre) about the hummingbird, tobacco and fire, in the second case the teachings of father and son on the origin of tobacco, its preparation and relationship to the discipline of knowledge. Resumen: Este articulo estudia el proceso de conocimiento entre dos clanes del pueblo murui-muina, tambien conocidos como hijos del tabaco, la coca y la yuca dulce. Su territorio se encuentra ubicado en el rio Kotue (Igaraparana) en la Amazonia colombiana. Se estudiaran los textos de cada clan, en el primer caso un rua (genero canto) sobre el colibri, el tabaco y el fuego; en el segundo, las ensenanzas de padre/hijo sobre el origen del tabaco, su preparacion y su relacion con la disciplina del conocimiento.
