Abstract

"Lullaby, Hush (sweet girl)": The speaker finds the “I” by divesting herself of a series of semiautomatic actions in order to ground herself more fully in the body. Abstract: “Lullaby, Hush (7 lights)”: The speaker examines what’s precious and finds the possibility of both self-negation and self-affirmation. Abstract: “Lullaby, Hush (I select.)”: The speaker examines origins and outcomes.
