Abstract

Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit Geodätischen auf Flächen. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden Ergebnisse von Thorbergsson und Bangert über die Existenz geschlossener Geodätischen auf Flächen mit vollständigen riemannschen Metriken auf reversible und zum Teil auch auf allgemeine Finsler-Metriken ausgeweitet. Der zweite Teil der Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit rotationssymmetrischen Spindle-Orbigfaltigkeiten. Es wird gezeigt, dass unter allen riemannschen Metriken, solche für die alle Geodätischen geschlossen sind, sogenannte Besse-Metriken, passend gewählte systolische Verhältnisse maximieren.
