This is the taxonomic treatment of the Caricaceae from Bahia state, Brazil. Four species are recognized: Jacaratia corumbensis, J. heptaphylla, J. spinosa and Vasconcellea quercifolia. The treatment includes an identification key, descriptions and general comments for the taxa, as well as illustrations and distribution maps of the species in Bahia.
