A floristic treatment of the Nymphaeaceae from Bahia State, Brazil, is presented. Six species of Nymphaea were recognized: N. amazonum, N. caerulea, N. lasiophylla, N. lingulata, N. pulchella and N. rudgeana. An identification key, descriptions, illustrations, and general comments on the species are presented.
