Abstract

We present the Flora of Canavalia (Leguminosae) from the state of Bahia, Brazil. The genus encompasses five species in the state: C. brasiliensis, C. cassidea, C. dolichothyrsa, C. parviflora and C. rosea. The treatment includes an identification key, descriptions, illustrations, general comments and distribution maps of the species in Bahia.
