
Abstract. As a main form of modern agriculture, facility agriculture has got rapid development, hence monitoring and control of its various environmental factors becomes an important research question. Common environmental factors for facility agriculture include temperature, humidity, CO2-concentration and illumination intensity. Appropriate environment factors are key to guaranteeing crop growth and efficient production. With automation, intelligence and networking of facility agriculture, more and more automatics are applied to control the environment of facility agriculture. The paper summarizes application of sensor technology, Internet of Things (IoT) and intellectual technology in the facility agriculture field and emphasizes the application of automatics in monitoring and control of different environmental factors.
