Abstract

This PowerPoint presentation was given in San Francisco, California, during the American Library Association's annual conference, introducing the audience to the work of the Regional Audiovisual Archives Committee (RAVA) of the Association of Moving Image Archivists. The session focused on community-based audiovisual preservation and outreach and how RAVA can help smaller institutions or individuals recognize the importance of their materials and preservation needs.
