Fleeing "Father God"
From Kelly Denton-Borhaug: Isaac chose a difficult and bold question, "Is the Christian metaphor, `Father-God,' inherently destructive and abusive?" and he threw himself into grappling with that question not only with his best intellectual resources, but those also of heart and soul. This paper shows his budding talent as a thinker, researcher, theologian and writer. I particularly appreciate Isaac's careful tracing of complex arguments, and his daring recommendations in his conclusion.
