
I've just returned from my two week summer holiday, most of which was spent in France. We visited friends who have recently given up the ‘pillar of the community’ lifestyle in England to open up a restaurant. Yes, a restaurant in France! Some of you may have seen Loy featured on a ‘fly on the wall’ television documentary about ‘Tante Marie’, a school for posh cooks in Woking. The restaurant/new home was beautiful and the food superb. They, Loy and John, have only been open for eight weeks and are promoting their restaurant with the quality of the food and service that they provide.
