People trying to spread christianity to the world are called missionary and the efforts shown by them in order to realize that mission are called the missionary activities. Even though the missionaries having activities in the 3. world countries and islamic countries claim that they are only interested in a religion mission and they are away of the national and international political affairs, as it was in the course of history, missionaries are in a close relationship with christian power groups. Therefore, missionary activities are not carried on religious issues, but only for expanding the political and military domination areas of various power groups. In this study, the history of the missionary; its methods and its activities in the Black Sea Region have been mentioned.
