Economics of service sector

Abstract

The textbook presents the main theoretical and practical problems of the economy of the service sector. The characteristics of services, industry specifics of the service sector, factors of its advanced development, methods of standardization and certification of service products, features of state and market regulation of service organizations, issues of resource support of service processes and increase of their efficiency are considered. Special attention is paid to the current trends in the intellectualization of services, their automation and clustering, as well as the mechanisms of development of the accompanying service. Meets the requirements of the Federal state educational standards of higher education of the last generation. For undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the enlarged groups of areas 38.00.00 "Economics and management", 43.00.00 "Service and tourism", 44.00.00 "Education and pedagogical Sciences", providing training for educational organizations and education authorities.
