Abstract

The monograph is devoted to the study of the problems of the formation and development of Soviet historical science in the context of the socio-political development of Soviet society. The successes and failures of Soviet historical science in the comprehension of history are analyzed, its influence on subsequent epochs is traced. On the basis of the sources and literature available to the author, the features of Soviet historical science as a socio-cultural phenomenon are revealed. For a wide range of readers interested in historical science. It can be useful for students, postgraduates and teachers of historical faculties of universities.
