A linear Volterra difference equation of the form where x : ℕ0 → ℝ, a : ℕ0 → ℝ, K : ℕ0 × ℕ0 → ℝ and b : ℕ0 → ℝ∖{0} is ω‐periodic, is considered. Sufficient conditions for the existence of weighted asymptotically periodic solutions of this equation are obtained. Unlike previous investigations, no restriction on is assumed. The results generalize some of the recent results.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 14 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
