Abstract

"Computer literacy", or "computer competency", has become a widely used term, usually applied to students and their abilities to use computers for often vague purposes. Computer literacy has come to mean a milestone in the educational program, for example, a requirement for graduation from high school or college, or the result of finishing a certain course of study.
