It is shown that an A.D.I. scheme is applicable to the time-dependence Schrodinger equation and yields an error estimate of O(..delta..t)/sup 2/ + h/sup 2/). The method is also applicable to time-dependent vibration problems provided that the boundary conditions can be properly treated.
