Maintaining financial success is important for every business, and a good manager should track its performance at a number of levels. These parameters may be interlinked and complex, so it is vital to be able to interpret the data collected. In this article, Peter Gripper describes some useful measures of financial performance and explains the importance of internal and external benchmarks.
