A vibration isolating device comprising a stopper metal fitting provided with draining and ventilating notched windows in at least two places, wherein the stopper metal fitting is adapted for easy and reliable positioning with respect to and fixing to the main body metal fitting and for inhibiting itself from deviation or the like when loaded by the stopper action. A vibration isolating device comprising a main body metal fitting (1) having a cylindrical barrel (11) connected to an upper attaching metal fitting (2) through a vibration isolating base (3) made of rubber, the main body metal fitting (1) having a stopper metal fitting (8) crimped to the open end (15) thereof which upwardly extends outwardly of the vibration isolating base (3) and bends inwardly for the upper end to serve as a stopper (8a), the stopper metal fitting (8) being formed with notched windows (81, 81) in the lower portion thereof in at least two opposed places, wherein the open end (15) of the main body metal fitting (1) is provided with a peripheral positioning projection (16) adapted to fit in the notched window (81).
