Along with the case scenario or learning resources, the author/s also describe how to effectively use the resource for teaching–learning, and their experiences with using the resource. The resources can be browsed according to subject, featured collections, competencies, academic focus, professional interest, organ systems and format. The site has comprehensive resources in the specialties of internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine and paediatrics. With regard to competencies most are related to medical knowledge, patient care and interpersonal and communication skills. The site, in association with the Georgia Health Sciences University, is launching a Directory and Repository of Educational Assessment Measures (DREAM) shortly. The ‘iCollaborative’ is a collection of non-peer reviewed resources. There are also resources useful for learning dentistry.
