Plasma antenna is a modern and performance technology that is designed and fabricated as appropriate replacement for current antenna. A new Plasma loop antenna based on DC discharge ionized is proposed in this paper. The diameter of the ring discharge tube of the antenna is 12 inch and the dimension of commercial fluorescent for simulation and fabrication is used. The antenna is simulated at UHF band and its ability to practice as transceiver is investigated through simulation by using the practical software CST microwave studio suite 2015. In order to accredit simulation results of the designed plasma antenna, a fabrication of presented antenna is accomplished. Experimental results affirm the correspondence with the simulation results.
