In this paper, a prototype antenna has been designed and manufactured. For the patch array, the feed network has been designed to deal with the couplings. Our numerical validations have proved that the connection between the feed network and the patches array achieves the objective radiation pattern. This method can provide a very low axial ratio of the order of 3 dB over a wide angular aperture [−30°, 30°] in all planes ϕ. For the WPA, the bandwidth of this type of antenna is narrow. The achieved prototype, presents performances similar to those obtained in simulation The major work in this paper has been on the patch array.
