In this article, I'll focus on the NSDL's Communities for Physics and Astronomy Digital Resources in Education (ComPADRE) Pathway project for physics and astronomy education and outline the effort's goals and structure. More important, I'll present a proposal to better support the incorporation of computational methods in the undergraduate physics and astronomy curriculum.
