The Y/Y phase C converter transformer in ±500kV Zhaoqing converter station had been seriously damaged, because the 1.1 bushing had interior flashover. Due to it will take almost one year to remedy it or to manufact a new transformer, in case of that the transformers in Zhaoqing converter station fall to malfunction, this paper study the feasibility of that to use Y/Y converter transformer of Bao'an station parallel operate with that of Zhaoqing's. From two way this paper deploy the study: technique parameter analysis and emulate steady operation state. Discuss the problems that is likely to happen in this parallel operation, and the method that how to deal with this problems. Contrast analysis from wind group, ratio, short-circuit impedance, rated power, dimensions of main components, technology parameters of bushings and CT and on-load tap changer. Got the extrapolate infer that the Y/Y converter transformer of Bao'an station can parallel operate with that of Zhaoqing's. Use the EMTDC and RTDS to simulation this operation state show that it will operate in gear. Bring forward the method to cope with the problems such as circular current between the three phase converter transformers, the increase of neutral current.
