Aiming at the problem of large energy consumption of the magnetorheological semi-active suspension, a kind of integrated regenerative magnetorheological damper is proposed. The improved polynomial model of the magneto rheological damper and the electromagnetic induction regenerative model are established. The damping characteristics experiments of the developed damper are completed. The damping force-displacement curves and force-velocity curves are achieved. At the same time, the regenerative characteristics of developed regenerative damper are simulated and tested. The results show that the regenerative test voltage and regenerative simulation voltage are basically consistent, thus validating the correctness of electromagnetic induction regenerative model. The regenerative efficiency of the magnetorheological damper under the road input is 32.84%.
