Novel unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) of two DC links connected with resistor

Abstract

This paper proposed a novel topology, which series inverter and shunt inverter both have capacitors in DC links, and connected by a resistor. And then establish mathematical model and control transfer function. At last compare the performance of traditional UPQC, separate UPQC and proposed UPQC in sag, harmonic and unbalance condition. The results shown that the proposed topology have a great performance in all cases.
