Abstract

This paper proposes the photovoltaic generator MATLAB/Simulink model. This paper modifies the one diode photovoltaic cell equations as the PV generator equations. These PV generator equations use the Simulink blocks for forming the photovoltaic generator MATLAB/Simulink model. The model accepts variable irradiance and temperature and various generator specifications such as number of modules connected in series and parallel and gives the various characteristic curves. The validation of the output curves is done through the parameters of PV generator.
