Study on the Improvement of Emulsified Flotation Reagent

Abstract

Flotation experiments for Shanxi Dianping coal were carried out by diesel oil, ZFC and ZFC-1, and superior flotation parameter combinations of which were researched. The results show that ZFC-1 has better collectivity and selectivity to coal sample. The ZFC-1 clean coal recovery increases by 2.47% and 2.93% than diesel oil and ZFC, respectively, and combustible material recovery increases by 2.56% and 3.14%, and its clean coal ash decreases by 0.19% and 0.41%. The reagent promoting mechanism of ZFC-1 was studied by measuring gas-liquid interfacial tension and contact angle. As can be expected, ZFC-1 can improve hydrophobicity of coal surface and coal floatability.
