Study on the Flameproof High Power Emergency Power Supply System for Auxiliary Fan in the Coal Mine

Abstract

A variety of measures are taken to improve the reliability of power and wind supply of auxiliary fan for heading face in the coal mine, however, almost of all coals adopt the manner of laying cable for power supply at present, when mechanical damages occurred, yet it would cause power and wind cut. Therefore the paper develops a backup flameproof 660V- high power three-phase emergency power supply system suiting for the mines. The system adopts PLC as the kernel of control?Cemploys such strategy as using two proportional integral (PI) controllers of current and voltage to adjust the current and voltage respectively in order to control charging the batteries intelligently and utilizes special flameproof cabinet for mine. The system implements the function of charging and discharging the high capacity batteries intelligently, furthermore it will automatically switch to emergency power supply mode when the wind supply system appears interrupted exception due to regular power cut. It could prevent gas accumulating or exploring so as to ensure intrinsical safe of the core mine.
