
This article analyzes the evolution in time of the total electrical energy production and categories of power plants in Romania for a period of 26 years (1992–2017). For each category, time series analysis will be done using ARMA models. Based on the models analyzed, forecasts will be made for a short period of 5 years (2018–2022), with the software package EViews, software specialized in econometric analyzes both at microeconomic and macroeconomic level.
