Power integration based dynamic equilibrium measurement and control device of beam pumping unit

Abstract

Against the problem of misjudgment existed in conventional balance judgment methods caused by motor generation reversely and load fluctuation etc., the problem of no smart or standardized device which real-time balance results can be presented accurate visually, functions can be extended on the same platform, and this device would be applied in different oil field with low costs at the same time. According the law of energy conservation, power integration based dynamic equilibrium measurement and control device is designed including the identification method and the standardized measurement and control platform. The method is proposed as the judgment to comprehensively represent the real dynamic equilibrium state in the process of pumping, which measuring and accumulating accurately the forward and reverse electricity consumption of the motor in one or more up-down stroke period, then obtaining the ratio of upstroke electricity consumption average and the down stroke to determine whether a pumping unit is in the equilibrium running state. The standardized measurement and control platform with high performance is designed using dual — DSP scheme which concentrates parameters measuring, sensor data acquisition, algorithm implementation, intelligent control and alarm, telecommunication and so on. Field experimental and applied results in Zhongyuan oilfield show that the method as standard can obtain correct judgment avoiding the factors of load disturbance and decrease energy waste significantly after adjustment, the experiment device with intuitive operation and practicability have a wide range of application prospects in the oil industry.
