Intelligent control techniques can play a pivotal role in improving the performance and the efficiency of wind energy conversion systems (WECS). A new scheme composed of two fuzzy systems is proposed here to achieve this goal. The first fuzzy system mimics the hill climb search technique to yield the maximum power as a set point. The second fuzzy system is an adaptive PI-like controller that tracks the set point. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve the efficiency.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
